-Carol E. Briney

Recidivism is the act of returning to criminal
or antisocial behavior patterns; prison

Vision

To place a spotlight on social and educational changes as strength-based alternatives to the shattering effects of incarceration on our families and nation.
Vision

Mission

Our mission is to utilize holistic programs and services to stop people from going to prison, keep families together, and to create and sustain safe and thriving communities: To re-shape futures.

Often, individuals and their families need considerable help when faced with the impact of incarceration or the daily challenges of reentering community after incarceration.

RBN is dedicated to providing pre- and post-release, culturally-sensitive programs and innovative opportunities for adult and juvenile offenders, and their families, that will assist them in developing personal knowledge and life skills to successfully move toward positive change, growth, and healing.
Approach Chart

RBN is committed to providing advancement, development and networking in the areas of education, community mentorship, employment, housing, transportation, arts, holistic health, family reunification, and spirituality.

If we can’t help people to realize their own universal
value and potential, how can we expect them to see
the value in their victims or their environment?
This is gained through asset building, not punitive action.
